Here are just a few examples of the ways your support will help youth in the Matthews House program:

o $10 can help provide access to vital documents such as birth certificate, social security cards and state identification, that are critical to schooling and employment.

o $25 can help provide resources for educational advancement, such as a GED preparation class, a college application fee or help with financial assistance.

o $50 can help provide an opportunity for youth to build confidence and leadership skills by participating in an outdoor activity, such as rock climbing or a ropes course challenge.

o $100 can help screen and match a weekly mentor with a youth to provide a positive adult role model.

Other ways to support the Matthews House:

Over our first three and a half years, The Matthews House has equipped and empowered over 250 youth in Larimer County who lack the advantages of a safe home and a healthy family.

As The Matthews House has become an established and respected youth program in the community, we’ve seen a significant increase in the demand for our services. In addition to referrals from state and county agencies, we are receiving increased referrals from local school districts as well as an increasing number of young people showing up on our doorstep seeking help, having heard about the impact we’ve had on their friends’ lives.

We don’t want to have to turn away a single youth genuinely searching for assistance, but we can’t do it alone. We need your financial support.
